Food Play and More

In this series, I’m going to give you a run down on a variety of kinks and fetishes, from A-Z. In this ‘F’ post it will be Food Play, Feet and Furries . This wonderful world of kink and fetish is incredibly varied and interesting. You never know, you might just stumble across something that takes your fancy. At the very least, it will make for some fun reading.

A quick reminder, a kink is something you especially enjoy, and may add an extra element of sexiness to a situation. On the other hand, a fetish is an object, action or desire that needs to be present in order to achieve sexual satisfacion. Kinks especially are tricky to define, because one person’s kink can be someone else’s norm. Fetishes are easier to pick out and can range from the vanilla to the peculiar. Let’s dive in and learn together. Today we will cover some of the F’s.

Food Play

Food Play is the act of using food in an erotically charged way. In mainstream media we see people licking whipped cream off of one another or pouring champagne into a belly button and slurping it out. However, a food play fetish can go a lot deeper than this. Ever heard of sploshing or WAM (wet and messy)? this is when food is used to cover the body with non bodily fluids. Usually the messier the better. Both of these things fall under food play. Eating and sex are closely related in terms of brain function, so its not surprise that combining the two together can heighten both experiences.

Aphrodisiacs

Some people like to simply induldge in foods that are said to be aphrodisiacs. Think oysters, chocolate, strawberries or watermelon, whilst others want to take things up a notch. Whether that’s enjoying food in front of the refrigirator after blindolfding your partner, then feeding them the entire contents, like in 9 and a half weeks, or filling a bath tub with soup and jumping in. It depends how you want to enjoy food play. Some people like the tastes and smells whilst others enjoy the textures.

A good place to start experimenting with food and sex is trying something like edible undies. Then you can try licking whipped cream from your partner’s erogenous zones or sipping champagne and then passing it into your partner’s mouth. Try feeding each other, or rubbing your erogenous zones with different foods and seeing what feels nice. You could also try squishing food with your feet or squashing food between your naked bodies. Some people are visual and simply enjoy seeing their partner covered in or playing with food whilst others want to experience everything food has to offer, the messier the better. There is no right or wrong way to enjoy food play. Simply give it a go and see what you both enjoy.

Slip and slide

Some food play enthusiasts enjoy a wet and slippery lube session. If you are more into textures than the food itself then this could be great for you. If you are going to try this then a vinyl sex sheet could work well for you, not only is it sexy it means you can explore food and liquids without the worry of messing up your furniture and it will actually add to the exciting slip and slide feel.

Feet

A foot fetish is defined as a sexual interest in feet, otherwise known as podphillia. It can be the shape, size, smell or feel of the feet that excites and interests a foot fetishist, it can even be the length or shape of just the toes. Foot fetishes can also veer into a fetish for shoes or nylons.

There are many ways people can choose to induldge their love of feet, whether that be purchasing foot jewellery for their partner, massasing or washing feet, shoe sniffing or even just looking at pictures or videos of feet. When liking feet takes on the form of a fetish, people tend to enjoy the submissive side of this, and tend to worship feet and might take up boot licking for example, they may even like to be squashed under someones feet. When liking feet is just a kink, people usually tend to incorporate feet into their foreplay, such as a foot job or toe sucking.

Vanilla

Adoration for feet is one of the most common kinks there are and is generally considered quite vanilla in the broad spectrum of kinks and fetishes. Feet are the most popular body part to have a fetish or kink about.

Furries

A furry is a person who enjoys dressing up as a cartoonish animal for sexual pleasure or sometimes as a fun escape from real life. Usually a furry likes to dress as an animal and will enjoy being with others who also enjoy the same. It must be noted however, that being a furry has nothing to do with bestiality, which is a common misconception.

Most furries enjoy dressing as an animal but as an animal that also has human characteristics. Furries usually have an animal that they love and admire and identtify with. They want to express this love for the animal by dressing like them. Sometimes this can be in a sexual way and other times just for fun. Furries can spend thousands of dollars on their outfits and feel confident when wearing them. Some furries prefer to induldge their kink in the privacy of their home, sometimes online. Whilst others like to meet with other furries for fun and sometimes for spicy time. Furries who want to be sexual have holes placed in their specially designed outfits for easy access.

Furries tend to be people who have experienced bullying, loneliness or trauma when they are younger and find the furry community welcoming and safe.

Whilst some furries will have sex in their outfits, a lot of them choose not to, because they’ve spent such a lot of money on their suits they don’t want to ruin them. So they will have sex out of their suits but might choose to watch furry porn and use furry friendly sex toys to really enjoy their encounter. Think animal tail butt plugs and or animal masks for role play.

Furries often get a bad rap when they are portrayed on TV, but its usually just about people having fun and expressing themselves.
