In this series, I’m going to give you a run down on a variety of kinks and fetishes, from A-Z. In this ‘E’ post it will be Exhibitionism, Electro Stimulation and Edging . This wonderful world of kink and fetish is incredibly varied and interesting. You never know, you might just stumble across something that takes your fancy. At the very least, it will make for some fun reading.

A quick reminder, a kink is something you especially enjoy, and may add an extra element of sexiness to a situation. On the other hand, a fetish is an object, action or desire that needs to be present in order to achieve sexual satisfacion. Kinks especially are tricky to define, because one person’s kink can be someone else’s norm. Fetishes are easier to pick out and can range from the vanilla to the peculiar. Exhibitionism

Exhibitionism is defined as the pracitce of putting ones genitals, breasts and or buttocks on display in public. There are many different forms of exhibitionism. Whether it is the flasher in the park or the streaker at the big game who get their jollies from shocking others. There are some people who enjoy posting nudes online for others to peruse and judge. Others out there enjoy masturbating or having sex outdoors because they relish the fear of getting caught. There are other exhibitionists who prefer controlled and consensual exhibitionism, which could take the form of BDSM clubs, swingers clubs or even dogging.

In most cases, the exhibitionist will derive sexual pleasure by exposing themselves. The one event won’t necessarily involve sex, but the thrill of the exposure will be recalled later on when being intimate with someone or with themselves in order to achieve sexual gratification.

E Stimulation

E Stimulation or electrosex as it is more commonly known, is the act of using electricity to stimulate the body. You can enjoy a flexible range of sensations from mild to intensley tingling. E-Stimulation tends to be more of a kink rather than a fetish. People who choose to induldge in this practice use it to enhance their sex life from time to time rather than having to rely on it for pleasure. However, some participants can become addicted to the sensation.

Using E-Stim devices provides direct stimulation to the nerve endings. So, as you can imagine this can be very intense. Electrosex isn’t really about pleasue/pain, its more about enjoying a different kind of sensation and experimenting with with the electrical current to find out what voltage of shock turns you on. Everyone is different, so what might feel erotic for your partner might feel way too much for you. Having to have open discussions with your partner about what feels good is a great way of bonding you as a couple and building trust.

E-Stim can be used in a power dynamic, one of you submits to the consentual shocks whilst the other one dominates by taking control of when, where and how they shock you. However, E-Stim can also just be used to intesify and diversify a fun and healthy sex life without the need for taking on such roles.

You can enjoy experimenting together and finding out what works for you both. Edging

The only thing more pleasureable than an orgasm is the anticipation of the orgasm itself and that is what edging is. When you participate in edging you are purposefully keeping yourself or someone else from orgasaming. It is believed that edging allows you to enjoy stronger, longer and more explosive orgasms. This is because the act of edging increases the blood flow to the genital area, resulting in increased sensitivity, so when you finally allow yourself the release, it should feel better than ever.

In general, people will edge 1-2 times before allowing themselves to cum, whilst other more experienced edgers will go 4-5 times before climaxing. Other people may choose to simply not cum at all. They believe the exquiste feeling of having all that pent up energy constantly running through the body is exhilarating. Both men and women can enjoy edging, whether alone or with a partner. in fact, with women it is a very common way of masturbating. For men, it can help with low libido or mild erectile problems.
