Queening & Quirophilia
It’s time for the latest installment in this series. I’m giving you a run down of a variety of kinks and fetishes, from A-Z. In this ‘Q’ post it will be Queening and Quirophilia. The wonderful world of kink and fetish is incredibly varied and interesting. You never know, you might just stumble across something that takes your fancy. At the very least, it will make for some fun reading.
A quick reminder, a kink is something you especially enjoy, and may add an extra element of sexiness to a situation. On the other hand, a fetish is an object, action or desire that needs to be present in order to achieve sexual satisfacion.
Kinks especially are tricky to define, because one person’s kink can be someone else’s norm. Fetishes are easier to pick out and can range from the vanilla to the more peculiar. Let’s dive in and learn together. Today we will cover some of the Q’s.
Queening
Queening, or face sitting as it is more commonly known is the regal practice of ascending your throne, in this instance the throne will be your willing and usually submissive partner’s face.
Originating from a medieval practice where female monarchs would sit on the face of their male consorts to assert their authority. However, Queening of today is more about an erotic act between two consenting adults. There is still a power element to it as usually it is the woman taking charge and exacting pleasure from her partner.
Queening is completely about the Queen’s pleasure. Her partner is merely there to service her, to pleasure her. This practice can open communication between a couple as a woman can express exactly what she wants and how she likes it.
Queening isn’t about causing your partner discomfort or pain it is only about pleasure and playing with power dynamics to establish dominance.
Queening is more often than not considered a kink. Something that couples dabble in from time to time to spice things up or as an added element to other BDSM or power play scenarios.
Women report feeling super sexy, powerful and in control of their partner and their own pleasure when participating in queening.
Quirofilia
Simply put, Quirophilia is an attraction to hands. Quirophilia as a kink can be someone who finds hands sexy, which a lot of people do. Women might find a man’s hands on a steering wheel to be paticularly sexy whilst a man might take great pleasure from seeing a womans manicured hand doing up her stocking. As a fetish though, Quirophilia goes rather deeper. In order for a Quirophile to be sexually excited or even satisfied they would need to be looking at, being touched by or touching hands as an arousal point.
Quirophilia is an intense, deeply personal attraction to hands. Often the intricate details of hands are what turns people on. The feel of the soft skin, motion of fingers and the potential of what the hands can do. Hands are able to deliver pleasure in many forms, think fingering, hand jobs, or cheeky fingers taking a wander to your backdoor. There are many nerve endings in fingers so them being sucked can be a real turn on for someone, not just the feel of them being sucked but the visual of their fingers essentialy being worshiped by a partner’s mouth.
Someone who has Quirophilia will see hands as a sexually loaded object. They will become sexually aroused looking at or even thinking about hands. If however, you just appreciate a nice manicure or like a man with big hands, that is just a preference rather than a sexual fetish.
